PERTON WALKERS

PERFECT PEOPLE AND A WOW AT WALKING

Set up in 1999 by Perton resident, Sandra Vint.

Up set in 2001 by whiz kid Fred O'Leary

Perton Walkers, first offered monthly walks to a pub, a pub lunch and a stagger back!

In the summer of 2001 it was decided that a more enjoyable day was to be had if the walk was completed before “the wine and dine bit”!

Most walks are two (or a little more) hours in time and approximately five or so miles in length.  Most start at a pub car park at about 11am and the idea is that all who come on the walk will wish to prolong the convivial atmosphere over a pub lunch washed down with real ale or fine wine.

Walks take place on the second or third Sunday of each month

.
